COURSE OVERVIEW

Safe and effective anaesthesia is a cornerstone of high-quality veterinary care, requiring careful planning, precise drug selection, and vigilant monitoring. This refresher course is designed to reinforce fundamental anaesthetic principles for small animal general practitioners and veterinary nurses, ensuring confidence in every stage of the anaesthetic process.

Across four structured modules, you will revisit essential topics, including patient preparation and planning, anaesthetic and analgesic drug selection, inhalational anaesthesia, and intra-operative fluid administration. Whether you’re looking to refine your existing skills or refresh your knowledge, this course provides a practical and accessible way to strengthen your anaesthetic expertise.
