COURSE OVERVIEW

In a field where rapid decision-making can mean the difference between life and death, being competent in emergency and critical care is crucial for providing the best possible outcomes for your patients. This comprehensive program will guide you through the essential skills and knowledge required to handle a range of emergency scenarios in small animal veterinary practice.

Across three detailed modules, you will explore the fundamentals of emergency care, including triage and stabilisation, as well as how to manage critical situations such as respiratory emergencies and other common urgent conditions. This course is a valuable opportunity to enhance your clinical confidence and ensure you’re well-equipped to manage emergencies with competence and care.

**Please note that these modules also form part of our CCS Prepping for Private Practice course. To avoid repetition, this short course is not recommended if you have already completed that course in 2023 or 2024.
