Receptionists are the first point of contact in a veterinary practice, making their communication skills essential for building trust, managing client expectations, and ensuring smooth information flow. Your ability to communicate effectively not only enhances client satisfaction but also contributes to the overall professionalism and efficiency of the practice. The aim of this course is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to become an exceptional receptionist, ensuring that you can create a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and their pets.

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Attributes of an exceptional receptionist
  • Premium service checklist
  • Telephone etiquette
  • Managing difficult clients
  • Shift hand-overs and teamwork
  • Communicating with empathy

You will have 3 months to complete the modules. You can work through the content at your own pace over this time period. Your progress through each module will be registered by clicking on the “Mark Complete” button at the end of each section. After watching the modules webinar, you will be required to take a short quiz. You will need to get over 70% to pass the quiz and have unlimited tries to do this.
