Financial discussions are arguably one of the more challenging and tedious parts of our jobs. At times these necessary conversations can have a negative impact on our client relationships. Our aim is to help you master and refine your client communication.

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Evolving South African pet owner perceptions and demands
  • Financial discussions – identifying practice and personal barriers
  • Navigating the cost-sensitive consultation
  • Building trust
  • A tailored approach to giving cost estimates
  • Communicating with empathy
  • Increasing pet owner buy-in for diagnostic and treatment recommendations
  • Optimising hospital patient updates
  • Improving owner compliance and re-visits
  • Discovery – your feedback and input to improved ways of working at FVH

    You will have 3 months to complete the modules. You can work through the content at your own pace over this time period. Your progress through each module will be registered by clicking on the “Mark Complete” button at the end of each section. After watching the modules webinar, you will be required to take a short quiz. You will need to get over 70% to pass the quiz and have unlimited tries to do this. Upon passing the quiz you can download your CPD certificate. Your CPD points will be uploaded to the SAVC portal by latest mid October.
